Well it is not every day you have a monkey on you. These would be pictures of the monkey saying goodbye after a day at the Newark Naz. Kidzone event. Eventually you can find more pictures of this event at www.newarknaz.org
Today was baptism at church and thirteen people of very different backgrounds declared their faith in front of family and friends. It felt right and good. What feels even better is knowing that this evening part of the worship band is playing at Camp Echoing Hills and even better is the fact that a portion of our youth group is there for several days serving the needs of wheel chair bound young people. I am praying that they will be filled with compassion and a sense of gratitude. There seems to be a lot of complaining and grumbling around these days and there is nothing like a trip to the hospital or a funeral home or a camp like CEH to adjust ones attitude. Life is not all that bad so live each day with a God perspective. Learn to love Him and be grateful for these are the days He has made.
May you also someday get to hold a live monkey. (Or was the monkey holding me? Judge for yourself!)
